Sydney’s largest open-air rooftop oasis returns
Harper Rooftop Bar to relaunch with piña colada slushies, boozy pops, frosé, and a free four-night party headlined by Olivia Dean’s support act, Kaitt.
Get ready to soak up the sun and turn up the volume - Sydney’s biggest open-air rooftop bar, Harper Rooftop Bar is back for an unforgettable spring/summer season, with sky-high beats, frozen piña coladas, a dedicated Daiquiri bar, and alfresco-style snacks.
To kick off its return, the rooftop bar is throwing the ultimate welcome-back bash, Harper After Dark - a free four-day series of live DJ sets, running Thursday 17 September through Sunday 20 September.
Headlining the launch line-up is ARIA award-winner Kaiit, dropping a sensational sunset set ahead of taking the stage as main support act for Olivia Dean’s much-anticipated Australian and New Zealand tour. The opening weekend also features headlining sets from Med-inspired disco duo D.D Mirage and Caribbean-Australian afro house DJ Jazmine Nikitta.
Dialling up the summery vibes, Harper Rooftop Bar will offer a brand new menu of delicious snacks by chef Luke Mangan, with tropical-leaning highlights including hot honey-drizzled popcorn, natural Sydney Rock Oysters with pineapple mignonette, and Cajun prawns with chipotle and pineapple salsa.
The menu is designed to pair with a new list of sun-forward wines and cocktails, including piña coladas slushies, frosé, Pops By Launch frozen boozy sorbet pops, and custom creations from a dedicated Daiquiri bar.
The new season also comes with a raft of new weekly experiences, including: Golden Hours 4pm-6pm Wednesdays to Fridays, where you can snap up $15 spritzes and sashimi plates from $15; Rosé All Day on Saturdays with $15 glasses of rosé and frosé slushy cocktails; and Spritzy Sundays for sipping $18 signature and classic spritzes.
Located seven floors up atop five-star Kimpton Margot Sydney, Harper Rooftop Bar is a popular city hangout perfect for after-work drinks, sun-soaked sundowners and casual weekend catch-ups in the city. It’s also one of the only pet-friendly rooftops in town, where four-legged friends can soap up the skyline views alongside their owners.
Harper Rooftop Bar officially reopens Thursday 17 September, trading Wednesday to Friday 4pm-11pm, and weekends 12pm-11pm. Walk-ins are welcome, reservations recommended.
