The role:
Flourish in our creative, small-but-mighty agency, working directly with the leadership team and alongside comms and marketing creatives on a range of exciting, integrated campaigns.
This is a junior role, ideal for someone eager to kickstart or progress their early career in digital marketing, with a strong interest in social media and content creation.
In this hands-on role, you’ll support the daily management of social media channels for the agency and our clients by tapping into trends, creating and scheduling compelling fit-for-purpose social media content (primarily for Instagram), connecting with influencers in the social media space, and engaging with the online community. You’ll also provide general support to the wider PR and marketing team.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and map content calendars, identifying trends, key dates, topics and campaigns to tap into
Plan, create and schedule posts, stories and reels across a number of social media accounts, including filming, editing, and scheduling of video (primarily for Instagram and TikTok)
Source user generated content and reshare to maximise engagement and traffic growth
Connect with community by responding to comments and direct messages, and proactively engaging with like accounts to drive conversation, engagement and increased awareness
Conduct daily media monitoring and social media listening for mentions of clients, providing insightful analysis and data-driven reporting
Keep on top of trends, topics and best practices in media and social media to tap into or leverage, and identify and proactively pursue media and influencer opportunities and collaborations
Contribute to related digital marketing initiatives such as copy creation for EDMs, website updates, support with on-site professional photoshoots, and paid social media campaign set-up and monitoring
Provide general marketing and administrative support to the wider team as needed

About you:
1-2 years’ experience in a similar role and/or tertiary qualification in Communications, Media, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for storytelling and rapport building
A genuine passion for social media and storytelling
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Confidence using - or quick to learn - tools like Meta Business Manager, TikTok Business Manager, WordPress, Canva, social media scheduling
A passion for food, drink, travel and hospitality
An ability to think outside the square
A collaborative spirit
