A Month of Margaritas on a Med-Inspired Rooftop in Sydney
Spice up your after-work or pre-dinner drinks in the city with a whole month of margaritas at one of Sydney’s best high-up bars, the Rooftop at The Sussex Hotel.
The Mediterranean-styled Rooftop atop the heritage pub in Barangaroo, is slinging a special five-strong list of $15 margaritas for its Margarita May celebration, Tuesdays to Saturdays, 5pm-7pm throughout May.
Margarita lovers can sip their way through the different varieties, from the tried-and-true classic, the ever-popular Tommy’s or a Spicy Margarita to turn up the heat once the sun goes down, to more tropical takes like the Watermelon or Coconut marg.
Order up a favourite or two at sunset and settle into leafy surrounds of the Rooftop, a hidden oasis among the CBD’s skyscrapers, complete with striped umbrellas, a green marble-topped bar, a budding olive tree and grapevine-covered pergola.
Pair $15 margaritas with the Rooftop’s menu of delicious mezze-style eats, like falafel; crispy squid with aleppo pepper and lime aioli; spicy cauliflower bites with whipped feta; lamb kofta; pork souvlaki; and dips and flatbread.
The accessible, 18+ only bar will also be offering its usual drinks list during Margarita May, including a range of beers, holiday-style cocktails and wine.
