No worries with The Lion King & Kimpton Margot Sydney package

A roaring night out at Kimpton Margot Sydney awaits with an unforgettable theatrical adventure paired with delicious dining and a luxurious stay in the heart of the city with the new Disney’s The Lion King “dine, show and stay” package.

Continuing its run of memorable musical partnerships, the five-star Art Deco hotel has partnered with the globally celebrated stage production for its return season to Australia at the nearby Capitol Theatre, with the exclusive package available from 24 April, 2026, through to the end of the show’s season.

The package experience starts with checking into a spacious room with a cloud-like king bed, Georgia Draws A House bathrobes, and Mr. Smith amenities.

Opt to start your evening with a Lion King-inspired cocktail at the stunning Wilmot Bar, set within the hotel’s heritage-listed lobby framed by soaring red marble Scagliola pillars and plush furnishings. Choose between two vibrant concoctions for $24 each: the Hakuna Martini, a playful mix of vodka, vanilla liqueur, passionfruit syrup, cranberry juice and lime, or Sunset Over The Savanna, blending sloe gin, lychee liqueur, pomegranate liqueur, strawberry syrup and lime for something a little more theatrical.

Then, make your way to Luke’s Kitchen by Luke Mangan for a special two-course pre-theatre dinner, designed to be as satisfying as it is seamless before the show. Expect entrees like the Problem-Free Polenta & Gruyère Cheese Tart with verjuice dressing, mushrooms, zucchini and basil (V), mains like the Fearless Fish of the Day featuring pan-fried mulloway with steamed greens and garden herbs, and to finish, desserts like the Standing Ovation, a warm chocolate tart served with double cream.

Then it’s time for a leisurely five-minute stroll to the Capitol Theatre to take in the breathtaking sights and sounds of Disney’s The Lion King.

One of the most successful stage productions of all time, The Lion King has captivated more than 124 million people worldwide. Featuring music by Elton John and Tim Rice and visionary direction by Julie Taymor, the production brings the African savanna to life through breathtaking puppetry, spectacular costumes and beloved songs including Circle of Life, Can You Feel the Love Tonight and Hakuna Matata.

Once the curtain falls and the adventure concludes, return to Kimpton Margot Sydney for a restful night's slumber, and enjoy a leisurely 1pm late check-out.

The Lion King “Dine, Show & Stay” package is available Wednesday to Saturday from 24 April, 2026, until the end of the show’s season, and includes overnight accommodation, a two-course set menu for two at Luke’s Kitchen, and two A Reserve tickets to the musical, from $549 per room, per night. Subject to availability. Terms and conditions apply.
