Bastille Day two ways at Melbourne’s Bistrot Bisou

Get those French feels on this July, with several ways to celebrate Bastille Day at Melbourne’s favourite French casual corner restaurant and bar, Bistrot Bisou.

Week-long $49 Bastille Day menu

Cosy corner bistro Melbourne’s New York end, Bistrot Bisou is turning Bastille Day into a week-long affair this July. Every night from Tuesday 14 July through to Saturday 18 July, the Flinders Lane favourite invites francophiles to celebrate la fête nationale with a delicious three-course menu paired with a glass of house wine for $49, served amid tan leather banquettes and the warm glow of pendant lighting. The menu is a celebration of the French classics: hearty French onion soup crowned with melted Gruyère to start; followed by a slow-braised beef bourguignon on creamy mash; and finished with a velvet-smooth chocolate crème caramel. Joie de vivre included, the bon vivant case is simple: oui.
